Mollis is a municipality in the canton of Glarus in Switzerland.

In der Ebene befindet sich der Militärflugplatz Mollis, welcher nur noch sporadisch militärisch belegt wird und voraussichtlich 2007 geschlossen wird. Ãœber eine weitere zivile Verwendung, wie sie jetzt bereits beschränkt stattfindet, wurde noch nicht entschieden. Im April 1923 landete dort Walter Mittelholzer - seine Passagierflüge waren ein Publikumsmagnet.
